Some time last year, one of Kenya’s renown artist , Michael Soi exhibited his collection at the Circle Art Gallery. By far this was one of the most photographed collections that the gallery has had to date.
I had to visit and embrace the collection on my own. The exquisite nature of the images and the depiction of the stories made me contemplate a lot about the African woman and being a woman in general. This led me to his studio , where I could not hold my excitement.
