Phone and tablet cases are an extension of what your personality is like. They are also an extension on your sense of style. Most times we go for stock phone cases or cases that are safe like leather , clear cases etc. For this post I will show you how to transform your clear phone case or cover to a bold piece of accessory, with a quick 3 step DIY. First off, DIY (Do It Yourself) is an an amazing time to explore your creative element and get your creativity juices kicking in. I usually work on a couple of DIYs when I get inspired especially by one of my favourite fashion bloggers, Drew Scott, who is always making and doing something on his Youtube Channel. This time however this DIY came about after a full weekend without power.
Things you will need:
- Clear / Transparent/ Translucent Phone case
- Sellotape of any kind (The size depends on the shapes and the sizes of the lines that you would want)
3. Can of Spray Paint
STEP 1: Cleaning the cover and drying it
Step 2: Cutting up the tape and placing it on the case as desired.
Step 3: Following instructions on how to spray on the can , spray the paint evenly across the phone case
Step 4: Remove the strips of sellotape and leave out in the sun to dry for 30 mins.
Step5: Depending on the type of paint you can apply a coating to prevent it from cracking.
There you go
