2018 has seen a lot of revival of fashion and style trends from the past, with patterns and prints coming back to the streets and being showcased in different designer collections and shows. From tartan to plaid, these everyday prints and styles have been highlighted in dad sneakers by Versace, to work shirts by Comme Des Garcons.


With fall creeping in, a lot of brands are heavily pushing pieces and items that are bold and earthy in colour. With most merchandisers showcasing oranges, mustard and burgundy in their stores. Simons, Square One heavily showcase the fall trends with placements of chunky red and yellow sweaters in the store locations as well as bold red trench coats styled with tartan prints.

As highlighted by Joseph Tang, Fashion Director of Holt Renfrew, 2018 Fall trends for menswear has seen the revival of items and accessories with a ‘90s vibe. Hence the bucket hats, dad sneakers by brands like Versace and Fila. Some of these pieces have transcended from season to season because of their versatility and the surge for urban streetwear.


Ready to wear brands like Zara, H&M have stocked up on their functional jackets and pieces that look good but also are able to keep you warm and dry incase of unplanned for rain and winds.
