True to my sense of style, I stick to warmer tones this spring. Yes, I am slowly incorporating bright colours in my wardrobe, but I am still ever on the search for warm earth tone colours and pieces.
One of the ways I do this in my every day styling is by wearing layers that are perfectly or close. Some might call it colour matching or colour coding or simply matching.
A new easy way to break the whole monochromatic look is by adding a layer between the similar colours, this gives a necessary optical break and gives you the chance to have a lot of fun with colours that compliment each other (or in my case, an opportunity to wear black)
For this outfit I kept it as simple as can be, with a pair of vintage dad jeans and white sneakers, because this is a “fit” as the youngins say these days. When accessorising I wear minimal to no jewelry for such outfits because I like to have my outfits nice and clean. If I was to add jewelry I would most likely add those pant chains that have come back to style or a silver minimalist necklace.
What about the outfit would you change to do differently? Remember to check out my every day style posts and fashion ideas on my Instagram.
