KHAKI INSPIRED | BY FREDANYONA | SO YOU LIKE FASHION
Khaki and military are a recipe for the best fashion and style statement. For today’s post, the look I wore was inspired and sort of linked to a military-outdoor kind of theme. Military or what is known as camouflage or camo in the fashion industry is quite popular in the fashion industry. I usually have a pretty hard time choosing what to wear to college (especially after I have snoozed and am running late.) This look is one of my favorite and its really easy to throw on.

Everything from back packs (as seen in the post) to pants to blazers and jackets and even undies come in the pattern. The camo pattern comes in different colors, like pink and green and light beige.

Khaki is also another favorite , with it even being considered one of Kim Kardashian’s favorite colors and she is considered a fashion goddess, so you can’t go wrong. Khaki and military blend especially well hence the reason behind the outfit.

However, it is important that one makes sure that when wearing camo in public it is not prohibited in your country, because sometimes this can get you in trouble with the authorities. I have seen this first hand, and wouldn’t want anyone to go through what I saw. I know in Kenya, you can’t wear the pattern, like you are not allowed to wear the pants or shirt, but items like a hat, or a bag or undies can be worn but you have to be extra careful about it, when in the city center or what is better known as the CBD in Nairobi.

Back to the look, for this look I paired the oversize khaki shirt with a pair of grey skinny jeans and black combat boots. To add more character and definition to the look I carried around a camo print backpack and wore the orange reflector Wayfarer sunglasses.

NOTE When pulling off an outfit like this it is necessary to keep the tones in unison and not to have a contrasting color in the whole look because you would end up looking like a hot mess.
